COVID-19 INFORMATION

MacHQ remains determined to continue to serve you during this difficult time. We understand that many people are working from home, learning from home, or are in need of computer & cell phone rentals/repairs, chargers, etc. Customers may also need to pickup repaired devices located at MacHQ.

We have taken steps to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our employees. First, all employees are working on a voluntary basis. Of course, we are maintaining the proper social distancing of 6' and are sanitizing surfaces regularly. Employees are wearing gloves when working with customers and handling customer equipment. Gloves are available for customer use as well. We have purchased UV Sterilizers for all devices that come in for repair. It's uncommon for more than a few people to be in the stores at any given time, however, we will limit the number of customers inside the store at one time to 3. We will place a sign at the door indicating to wait until someone leaves before entering whenever 3 customers are present. We have also suspended all onsite services until further notice.

Please try to utilize Apple for software support before calling MacHQ. Returning phone calls has become extremely difficult. Apple support can be reached at 800-275-2273.

Mac Sales & Rentals:
There is a large selection of computers and cell phones available for short and long term rental. In addition, there are several used Apple systems available for sale as well. Unfortunately, due to significant supply chain issues, stock on new computer systems is very limited and orders may take an unknown time to fulfill.

Mac Repairs:
Needless to say, we are experiencing a higher than normal volume of repairs at this time. While we are currently receiving parts from Apple, there may, at any time, be issues with the supply chain. This is completely out of our control, but could significantly delay turnaround times. It is important to be aware that if the store is required to close by local mandate, returning devices to customers may be challenging during a closure. We will explore all options available if this occurs.

iOS Repairs:
It is only possible to physically complete so many iOS repairs in any given day, so it is necessary for us to limit all iOS repairs to appointments made in advance via the appointment schedulers at MacHQ.com or Apple.com. Keep in mind that MacHQ provides hardware repairs to iOS devices, please contact Apple support for password, AppleID and software issues. Some iOS repairs may require devices to be shipped to Apple, If this is the case, we can facilitate them for you.

We may need to adjust our store hours without notice due to staffing concerns. Check our website (please do not call) to verify store hours for the day before coming out. Both stores will be reserving the first hour of business to those age 60 and above and those who are most at risk to exposure to COVID-19. Please keep them in mind when visiting MacHQ.
