Your iPad just got smarter in iPadOS 26 — now you can swipe from the corner to open a Quick Note or take a screenshot—whether you’re using an Apple Pencil or your finger.
💡 What’s new:
With an Apple Pencil: go to Settings → Apps → Notes → Corner Gestures. Select Left or Right Corner Swipe, then pick Quick Note or Screenshot.
Without a Pencil: disable Windowed Apps (Settings → Multitasking & Gestures → Full-Screen Apps), then enable “Swipe Finger from Corner”. Choose a corner and assign the action.
Alternatively: keep multitasking mode and assign a Quick Note action to Control Center or use Globe + Q on an attached keyboard.
🔍 Why you’ll care:
Whether you’re a student, creative pro, business user, or managing life on your iPad, this gesture saves time. A quick swipe and you’re either marking an idea, creating a note, or capturing what’s on your screen—all without digging through menus.
